Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SettlTM ("the Service"), operated by IcyCastle Infotainment ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SettlTM is an AI-powered task management platform that provides task organization, AI-driven daily planning (Focus Pack), autonomous agent recommendations, focus timer sessions, productivity analytics, and related features. The Service is available as a web application at tm.settl.work.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Free and Paid Tiers

• Free tier: Provides limited access including up to 5 projects, 50 tasks, 10 AI calls per day, and weekly Plan My Day access.
• Plus tier ($2.99/month or $28.70/year): Provides unlimited access to all features including unlimited AI calls, agent capabilities, calendar integration, and adaptive planning.
• Pricing may change with 30 days advance notice to active subscribers.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Abuse AI features by submitting harmful, misleading, or excessive content.

6. Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in SettlTM (tasks, projects, notes).
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the Service.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• You are responsible for the content you create and store in the Service.

7. AI Features

• AI-generated recommendations (Focus Pack, agent suggestions) are advisory and may not always be accurate.
• You are responsible for reviewing and accepting or rejecting AI recommendations.
• Agent actions are logged and reversible (Plus tier).
• AI features are subject to rate limits as defined by your tier.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. IcyCastle Infotainment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
